Lines

Some techniques I did for this environmental line was taking the picture from above and i also set my camera to macro mode (flower icon button). I changed it to macro mode because I was taking the picture from close up. Also i changed it to macro mode because I think it looks better when its set to macro mode because the camera focuses on the only thing that is close.

Some techniques I did for this architectural/structural line was taking the picture from below and i also set my camera to macro mode (flower icon button). I changed it to macro mode because I was taking the picture from close up and from bellow. So that made the camera make the first part of the picture blurry and the rest of the picture with focus. This was my intention. I wanted the viewer to focus on the repeated vertical lines.

Some techniques I did for this human line was taking the picture from a straight point of view and i also set my camera to macro mode (flower icon button). The reason i changed it to macro mode was because I believe that when the picture is close up then it shouldn't be on the mountain side button because i feel it makes the pictures blurry and not that sharp.

I think this picture is my strongest picture because the lighting is right. I did not have to Photoshop it. I also think it is a really pretty picture because it focuses on nature and its also focusing on the girl on the side. It also makes you look the surrounding to see if there is something hidden or something unusual.

The most challenging element about this assignment was the lighting. It was the most challenging because since we have not learned a lot of ways to work with lighting in the camera. Also the lighting outside was to bright or too dark. A way I overcame this challenging element was by standing either in the shadows or in the sunlight. I also stood in different places to make the object I am trying to make the object either brighter or darker.
